Israel: Obama To Announce Peace Plan Soon

Bethlehem - Ma’an/Agencies - 17 July - A peace plan with a strict timeline may be announced by the new US Administration in coming weeks, Israel’s English and Hebrew daily Haaretz newspaper reported Thursday.

The paper quoted a “Western diplomat closely involved in current contacts involving the US, Israel, the PA and moderate Arab states,” as saying Obama aides are developing a peace plan with a binding timetable.




An ease on US, and now international, demand for a halt to settlement construction was rumored to be the carrot for Israeli participation in the talks, which would tackle the final status issues of borders, water, refugees and Jerusalem.

Talks were cut off following Israel’s launch of the Gaza war on 27 December 2008, which lasted 22 days and saw 1,505 Gazans killed. On June 9th, 2009, Obama was speaking to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the telephone from the Oval Office in the White House. I have the photograph of the President, and he is sitting at his desk with both feet about level with his head and right in the lens of the camera. This was televised, and care was taken to make sure it was seen in Israel. (22) Why would Obama sit in this position for the White House photographers? G8 Middle East - Full Support To 2 State Solution

This is the most important part of the political statement issued by the G8 regarding the Middle East approved last night. The G8 welcome the steps taken in that direction by the two parties in recent weeks and urge them to ''quickly resume direct negotiations on all open questions, in line with the Roadmap, the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the Madrid principles. The G8 countries ask the two parties to fulfil their obligations included in the Roadmap ''including the clear rejection of violence, terrorism and instigation to terrorism and a complete freeze on settlement activities (construction of Jewish settlements in Palestinian territories, editor's note) including their 'natural growth'.'' He Causes All, Both Small And Great, Rich And Poor, Free And Slave, To Receive A Mark On Their Right Hand Or Forehead

Revelation 14:9-10 -- "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath."

Look, I know this isn't the actual, prophesied Mark of the Beast per se so please don't think that's what this entry is about or trying to claim.

I've just been tuned in lately and very sensitive to the unusual events and images that have prompted me to think about such things. Whenever that happens I want to write about it here for all of you.

I'll leave you with this thought: How surreal (seems I've been using that word a lot these days!) is it that earlier today I reported on the One World Economy and its potential monetary unit as presented to the world courtesy of Russia's leader, and now we have a new image later in the day that strikes a chord with the Mark of the Beast system, which is intricately linked to the One Word Economy and resulting One World Currency?

As Iraq runs dry, a plague of snakes is unleashed

An unprecedented fall in the water levels of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers has left the rural population at the mercy of heat, drought – and displaced wildlife. Patrick Cockburn reports

Swarms of snakes are attacking people and cattle in southern Iraq as the Euphrates and Tigris rivers dry up and the reptiles lose their natural habitat among the reed beds.

"People are terrified and are leaving their homes," says Jabar Mustafa, a medical administrator, who works in a hospital in the southern province of Dhi Qar. "We knew these snakes before, but now they are coming in huge numbers. They are attacking buffalo and cattle as well as people." Doctors in the area say six people have been killed and 13 poisoned.

In Chabaysh, a town on the Euphrates close to the southern marshland of Hawr al-Hammar, farmers have set up an overnight operations room to prevent the snakes attacking their cattle. Source




Rev 16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and it's water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East....



The government of Turkey recently constructed the huge Ataturk Dam that can now dam up the waters of the Euphrates for the first time in history. The prophet John foretold a future military highway across Asia that would allow this astonishing army to march toward the final battle in Israel. John describes the building of this highway in these words: "The way of the kings of the east might be prepared" (Revelation 16:12).

The Chinese government has spent enormous sums and expanded the lives of hundreds of thousands of construction workers building a military super-highway across Asia heading directly toward Israel. This highway has no economic purpose and no foreigners are allowed anywhere near this road. The highway has been completed through the south of China, Tibet, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. This curious prophecy about "the way of the kings of the east" is being fulfilled in the 1990s setting the stage for the final battle of this age.

Netanyahu Agrees To Palestinian State


"President Obama has been making demands--rather insolent demands, some would say--on Prime Minister Netanyahu. Netanyahu concluded his speech by calling on the United States and the world community in general to take responsibility for a demilitarized Palestine:

Therefore, today we ask our friends in the international community, led by the United States, for what is critical to the security of Israel: Clear commitments that in a future peace agreement, the territory controlled by the Palestinians will be demilitarized: namely, without an army, without control of its airspace, and with effective security measures to prevent weapons smuggling into the territory - real monitoring, and not what occurs in Gaza today. And obviously, the Palestinians will not be able to forge military pacts.
Without this, sooner or later, these territories will become another Hamastan. And that we cannot accept.

I told President Obama when I was in Washington that if we could agree on the substance, then the terminology would not pose a problem.

And here is the substance that I now state clearly:

If we receive this guarantee regarding demilitarization and Israel's security needs, and if the Palestinians recognize Israel as the State of the Jewish people, then we will be ready in a future peace agreement to reach a solution where a demilitarized Palestinian state exists alongside the Jewish state.

Regarding the remaining important issues that will be discussed as part of the final settlement, my positions are known: Israel needs defensible borders, and Jerusalem must remain the united capital of Israel with continued religious freedom for all faiths.


The territorial question will be discussed as part of the final peace agreement. In the meantime, we have no intention of building new settlements or of expropriating additional land for existing settlements."

Biden: Israel has 'sovereign right' to attack Iran


US vice president remains vague on whether US would block Israeli attempt to target Iranian nuclear facilities. 'Israel has a right to determine its interests, and we will determine what's in our interests,' he tells ABC after interviewer repeats question three times


Israel is free to do whatever it deems necessary to remove the Iranian nuclear threat, US Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday. Biden said "Israel can determine for itself - it's a sovereign nation - what's in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and for anyone else"

As for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's approach, according to which Israel would "give until the end of the year for this whole process of engagement (with Iran) to work before taking matters into its own hands," Biden said "they're entitled to do that. Any sovereign nation is entitled to do that. But there is no pressure from any nation that's going to alter our behavior as to how to proceed. "


However, the vice president did add that "what we believe is in the national interest of the United States, which we, coincidentally, believe is also in the interest of Israel and the whole world. And so there are separate issues.


"If the Netanyahu government decides to take a course of action different than the one being pursued now, that is their sovereign right to do that. That is not our choice," he said.


Asked by Stephanopoulos whether the US would stand in the way of an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities by denying "over-flight rights in Iraq," Biden said " I'm not going to speculate, George, on those issues, other than to say Israel has a right to determine what's in its interests, and we have a right and we will determine what's in our interests."


Biden's comments were made ahead of Obama's scheduled visit to Moscow for meetings with senior government officials and then to Italy for the Group of Eight (G8) summit, where the prospect of tightening sanctions on Iran is expected to be raised.



Washington has suspended its efforts to hold direct talks with Iran and is now focusing on discussing Tehran's nuclear program through the P-5 (five Security Council members plus Germany).

"If they choose to meet with the P5, under the conditions the P5 was laid out, it means they begin to change course," Biden said. Source

Saudis would let IAF jets fly over kingdom on Iran mission'.."GREEN LIGHT TO ATTACK IRAN"

Mossad head Meir Dagan assured Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that Saudi Arabia would allow Israeli Air Force jets to fly over their kingdom during any future raid on Iran's nuclear facilities, The Sunday Times reported on Sunday.

According to the London daily, Dagan held talks with Saudi officials earlier this year on the topic. The Israeli media has already carried unconfirmed reports that high-ranking officials, including former prime minister Ehud Olmert, held meetings with Saudi colleagues. Saudi officials denied the reports.

"The Saudis have tacitly agreed to the Israeli air force flying through their airspace on a mission which is supposed to be in the common interests of both Israel and Saudi Arabia," a diplomatic source was quoted in the Times as saying last week.

While Israel has no formal diplomatic relations with Saudi Arabia, an Israeli source confirmed that the Mossad has "working relations" with the Saudis.

"The Saudis are very concerned about an Iranian nuclear bomb, even more than the Israelis," a former head of research in Israeli intelligence told the Times. Source








Russia & US To Sign Deals On Military Cooperation


MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia and the United States will sign deals on military cooperation when U.S. President Barack Obama visits Moscow next month, Russia's top general said on Friday.

"We have outlined the main issues of military cooperation for 2009 and beyond," the head of the Russian general staff, General Nikolai Makarov, said after a 90-minute meeting in Moscow with his U.S. counterpart, Admiral Michael Mullen.

"Our intention is that those documents should be signed when U.S. President Barack Obama arrives here in Moscow in July," Makarov said.

Obama is due to visit Russia on July 6-8 in an effort to reset ties with Russia, which have sunk to a post-Cold War low due to a series of rows, including last August's Georgia war, NATO's eastward expansion and the U.S. plan to deploy a missile defense system in Central Europe.

Relations between Moscow and Washington have gradually improved over the past months, particularly since Obama took office in January. Source




So basically the USA & Saudi Arabia is giving Israel the green light to attack Iran. I have NO doubt in my mind that this might form a massive war in the middle east.








Middle East Conflict


The unrest in the Middle-East focuses on the civil struggle between the government of Israel and its Palestinian people who want to establish a separate Palestinian state. Most of the Arab and/or Islamic nations in the area are also involved. The United States, the U.N., the European Union, and even Russia are all trying to broker peace in the region.

The current wave of violence could die out and become one of many such cycles in the area, or it could lead to more serious war. The outcome of this war could be a most welcome peace agreement.

Such a peace agreement might be just another phase in the age-old struggle between these nations, or it could be the false peace mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 5:3. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. (NIV)

When Israel finally is at peace, it will be the first time since they became a nation in 1948 that they have enjoyed such security. This could cause them to lower their guard, which would set the scene for yet another war, such as the one predicted in Ezekiel 38 and 39. (Many good Bible teachers think that war is more likely at the end of the Tribulation, but it does not correspond exactly to the Battle of Armageddon.) If it does come before the Tribulation, it will most likely correspond to the 2nd Seal of Revelation 6.







SO WHEN DOES ANTICHRIST COME TO POWER?

If July 11th Is the Start of the Tribulation , 42 months, 3.5 year, 1260 days leads to 21 December 2012.



Count back 1260 days from December 21, 2012 and check the news for information about a charismatic diplomat who negotiates a peace treaty allowing Israel to re-start their system of sacrifice on the Temple Mount without threat from radical Muslims. The temple need not be built for the Jewish sacrifice to commence, but watch information about the rebuilding of the Temple on the site of Solomon 's Temple. The diplomat who arranges this treaty will surely be seen as a hero to Israel, perhaps they will proclaim him their messiah outright, but there will be signs and omens as well. Perhaps this diplomat will arrange a peace directly after the Gog Magog War occurs, and so look for that battle in the mid-east to occur sometime between now and 1260 days before December 21, 2012 - Which will be....July 11th 2009

Green Party presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney, known for her provocative statements when she was a congresswoman from Georgia, accused the Department of Defense this week of using Hurricane Katrina to cover up the slaughter of 5,000 prisoners.

At a news conference in Oakland, Calif., on Sunday, McKinney claimed the Pentagon authorized the execution of the prisoners with one bullet to the head three years ago and then dumped their bodies in a Louisiana swamp.

McKinney said she heard the story from the mother of a National Guard soldier who said her son was assigned to help dispose of the bodies.

"And these were mostly males and her son was afraid to talk because he had signed a silence agreement," McKinney told the crowd. "So he only complained to his mother. But the data was entered into a Pentagon computer."

McKinney said she verified the story from "insiders" who wanted to remain anonymous.

"I suspect that these are prisoners. ... So this investigation of the whole prison industrial complex is extremely important and it should not end with just a question of the nature of prisons in our country," she said to a captivated audience. "These 5,000 souls also need some justice too."

A Defense Department spokesman dismissed McKinney's accusation.

"The claim is outrageous on the very face of it and doesn't merit any further consideration," said Lt. Col. Les' Melnyk. "It would be inconceivable that 5,000 people would go missing in America without anyone noticing it prior to this."

Psychologists and psychology professors contacted by FOXNews.com wouldn't comment on McKinney's mental condition, but they expressed shock at her assertion.

McKinney's presidential campaign noted her work with Hurricane Katrina survivors, including serving on a congressional bipartisan committee to investigate the Bush administration's preparation for and response to the storm.

"During the course of Congresswoman McKinney's focus on the victims and their mistreatment, she and her staff received reports of illegal use of force and shootings against innocent citizens from multiple, unrelated sources, including reports of attempts by law enforcement authorities to conceal the evidence of their crimes," the campaign said in an e-mail to FOXNews.com.

"Because these stories came from multiple, unrelated sources, Congresswoman McKinney did not dismiss them out of hand. She attempted to verify them with limited resources, to speak out about them and to get congressional attention through the Katrina committee hearings. Many aspects of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, despite numerous House and Senate committee hearings, remain unanswered and unresolved, including any final or reliable body counts." Fox News



Cynthia McKinney due In Israeli Court Sunday



With Cynthia McKinney due to appear in an Israeli court Sunday, the mother of the former congresswoman decided to skip a weekend family reunion in Alabama just in case State Department officials need any documents to get her released from jail.

McKinney has been in custody since Tuesday when she and 20 others were swept up by the Israeli Navy while allegedly trying to sail through a navy blockade. The group says it was attempting to deliver humanitarian supplies to Gaza.

The formidable one-time lawmaker and the rest of her group could have been released soon after they were taken into custody but they refused to sign a document admitting they violated Israel’s blockade. All will be held at least until Sunday, when they are to appear in court. News Source
